Chicken Talk: What is a pullet? A ‘pullet’ is a young hen that is under 1 year of age and has not started laying eggs yet.

What does HC (Hatchery Choice) mean? Hatchery Choice means the hatchery will choose your assortment!

What does ST Run or SR (straight run) mean? A straight run is a random distribution of chicks. They have not been sexed to determine their gender. They are sold ‘as hatched’. This means you could get a combination of male and female chicks.
